You can offset the extra expense of real flowers by creating yourown arrangements. All flowers are beautiful. The price does notdictate beauty, so, why not gather fresh flowers from your own gardensor a friend's?
For that matter, why not buy bouquets from your local supermarket?Stores such as "Publix" and "Walmart" actually have beautiful bouquets.It has been my experience repeatedly, that these $6 to $10 supermarket bouquets remain fresh and last just as long as those from a florist!
If you choose large blossoms, you may want to wire the stems first.This is easily done. Just stick a piece of floral wire upthrough the base of the bloom and "twirl" the stem, wrapping thewire as you twirl. Arrange your bouquets in bouquet holders!, with a little tulle and a bow. I promise you no one will be any the wiser as to the cost of your beautiful fresh flower wedding bouquets!
You can make them a day or two before the wedding. They will bepreserved very nicely if you keep them in the refrigerator.
Don't forget to add a few seashells or starfish to your bouquet. You can buy them already on wire stems...easy to use and definitely great for your beach theme!
