Well this month I went roaming to St. Augustine, Florida.
This is nothing new, I frequent the place because I love it! St. Augustine is roughly 90 miles straight south of me. You can take I-95 and just "get there" or take the scenic route on A1A. A1A is the road that runs right along the ocean. You can meander through all of the little beach communities that inhabit the barrier islands that line the entire Florida coast line. If you like sight seeing, this is definitely the way to go!
A trip to St. Augustine is like a trip back in time. It is the oldest city in the United States. The locals are very proud of it and work diligently to preserve it's history.

You will see narrow brick roads and original stone buildings of colonial decent. Horse drawn carriages share the narrow streets with the vehicles and seem very calm about it. I have never in all of my visits seen a spooked horse or an accident resulting from the mix.
Historic downtown St. Augustine is a joy to walk. The old buildings are home to oodles of unique little shops with everything from antiques to homemade ice cream and chocolate. Many of the old homes have been renovated into beautiful Bed and Breakfast Inns and each has a historical "tale" to tell.
Ghost stories are a favorite here and the locals love to tell them!
Of course there are modern attractions at St. Augustine too. The St. Augustine Outlet Mall boosts a one mile strip of the best shopping anywhere. Fine dining, bars, beaches and historical beauty make St. Augustine a wonderful place to tie the knot and spend your honeymoon!

Theme of the Month - Cinderella
Cinderella wedding themes bring to life the very essence of romance and true love. Every little girl has dreamed of one day being swept away by her very own Prince Charming. The smell of Jasmine, the glass slipper, the magnificent ball gown and the horse drawn carriage are all a part of one of the oldest and most loved fairy tales of all time.
Well princess...Congratulations! Your "Prince Charming" has proposed on bended knee and now it's time to make those Cinderella wedding dreams a reality.
No fairy godmother? Not to worry! Check Here for Cinderella wedding theme ideas.
Also...check out the
Casa Monica Hotel in
St. Augustine. It's the perfect place to marry your prince!

Wedding Humor

This is just cute from Bullwrinkle.com!
Too Funny
I belong to Bridegrooms Anonymous. Whenever I feel like getting married, they send over a lady in a housecoat and hair curlers to burn my toast for me.
