The Greek Alphabet

When we left off last month, Hurricane Rita was headed for the Gulf Coast. As predicted, she caused major damage, flooding and hardship for the people of Texas and Louisiana.

Our latest little fury was Hurricane Wilma which pummeled the Caribbean and Mexico before hitting South Florida including the Keys.

This hurricane season has been such a record breaker that weather experts have used all of the designated storm names in the English alphabet. Since storms are still brewing, they have begun to name them using the Greek alphabet!

As I write this, Hurricane "Beta", the second storm using the Greek alphabet, is tearing up Nicaragua's coastline!

We have one more month to go in this hurricane season. It's end will be a blessing.

Theme of the Month - A Hawaiian Luau

Perhaps the romance and tenderness of a Hawaiian wedding was first brought to fame by Elvis Presley in the 1961 movie "Blue Hawaii". Who could ever forget his rendition of the traditional "Hawaiian Wedding Song"? Girls all over the world swooned and dreamed of their own Hawaiian wedding.

You certainly don't have to go to Hawaii to have your own Hawaiian style beach wedding. It is a theme that is easily created on any beach or in your backyard for that matter.

Here are a few ideas to get you started with your Hawaiian Wedding Theme...
