Hurricane Season

September and October are known to be "peak" hurricane months here in the south. This year is no exception. The season is turning out to be a record setter of the worst kind.

As I am sure you know, Hurricane Katrina landed a devestating blow on the coasts of Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana. Unimaginable destruction and suffering have been left in the wake of this massive hurricane.

As I write this, it seems that "Mother Nature's" latest fury - Hurricane Rita, seems determined to wipe out the Texas coast line! Already a record breaking Category 5 hurricane, more destruction and suffering seem almost inevitable for the people of the Gulf Coast. What a helpless feeling to know that everything you have will be gone tomorrow and that there is nothing anyone can do to stop it!

The victims of Hurricane Katrina desperately need help as will the inevitable new victims of Hurricane Rita. Please visit the Red Cross and help if you can.

Theme of the Month - Daisies!

White Daisy wedding themes or colorful Gerber Daisy weddings are cheerful and lighthearted. What young girl at one time in her life, hasn't pull the petals from a daisy saying "he loves me, he loves me not, he loves me..."

Here are a few "Do-It-Yourself" ideas to get you started with your Daisy Wedding Theme...

The Fabulous Florida Keys

Hurricane Rita may have rearranged things just a little in the Florida Keys this week but not to worry! You can't keep the spirit of the Keys down for long. They will be back in business by the weekend!

The atmosphere in the Keys is casual and uninhibited, sometimes downright funky! The "anything goes" attitude makes the Florida Keys and Key West a playground for free spirits and romantics.

Blessed with the only true tropical climate in the United States, the weather is much the same as that of the Caribbean. So...if you want a Caribbean wedding but can't afford to go there, Florida Key weddings are perfect!

Wedding Vow Rings

Here is a really neat idea for brides searching for a unique wedding ring for that special guy. You want something different - something totally special that no other man on earth has. The Wedding Vow Ring is perfect. Nothing could be more unique or meaningful than presenting your new husband with a beautiful band secretly inscribed with your own words of love!
